I have had a few customers at my work ask me about this bible so I decided to look it up.  It’s called the Green Bible.  It is made out of recycled paper, using soy-based ink with a cotton/linen cover.  It also has all passages that speak to God’s care for creation highlighted in green ink.

Now I am all for recycling and protecting out Earth but is this main focus of the bible?  I’m not saying it’s bad I actually really like this bible and like the idea of using recyclables to make a bible my only concern is that people will get too caught up in the Green ink and forget about the Red ink.  Yes God does say to protect the Earth and all the animals in it and that is important but our main goal as Christians is to spread the word and love of Christ to the world and to make disciples.
